sorry to say the state of affairs in our country, its pathetic. India is still far from being a developed country. Being developed is not about revenue, it also applies to the general state of mind of people. Or I say it is a peoples attitude that makes a country developed or not. Money follows always.
First of all why should an engineering graduate from a top most college run an autorickshaw ? Is it due to his familial commitments ? The answer is simply .....a big NO !!! He represents a culture for whom money making is the utmost motive. Knowledge is for such people an "unpragmatic" affair. Why do such people exist among us ? Just to spoil the good will of that college or that course ? I write this not because I represent one such course ( the BAMS) which is said to produce less than mediocre doctors, where research works are awaited by curious people , to get some authentication for scientific recognition, but because I myself have studied in an engineering college.
B.Tech is synonymous of unemployment in our country not because of the course but because of the sorry affairs of our country. Our country is a "reserved" country which has its seats reserved in colleges, government institutions and even the legislative assembly for the down trodden and weak class. Why should a secular, socialist republic bring so much legislations for protecting a segment while ignoring the others ? Are those others so strong ? Or are the protected so weak ? As a country is , particularly a secular one, expected to treat its all citizens alike ! This particular phenomenon seen , i think, only in our country, has earned only disrespect for our own constitution from a majority of the masses, and has not been effective in bringing about any quality in its work force.
Not that auto driving was a bad thing, but let others do it ! Others means those with less education ! There are also such people who wish to be uneducated in our country ! Illiteracy seems a priviledge, reminds them of the bygone eras. Why do you take someone else's place in the soceity when it has offices reserved (deserved) for you ? Who said vacancies are not available in india ? I have not taken ayurveda out of ever growing interest on this science, but I have learnt to love my science, may be thats why monetary benefits dont bother me any more !
I have one ambition, which is this that, to practise pure ayurveda, applying its tri dosic and pancha bhautic principles ! Even though it may not be applicable in all circumstances !
